SUPERFREE Tomato Soup (0 syns)
This has got to be one of the best tomato soups around – full of flavour and full-bodied! And it takes no time at all. You can either use a tin of carrots OR fresh carrots (about a tin-ful) that you boil from fresh. It’s full of super-free food which will boost your weight loss, and perhaps even make up for one or two days where you have over done it with the food. By the way, if you want to make it into a more main dish – throw in some potatoes and chicken.

Ingredients
- 2 tinned tomatoes
- 1 tin baked beans
- 1 tin carrots
- 4 marble sized pickled onions or 2 large ones
- 0.5 pint chicken stock
- 1 tbsp sweetener e.g. Splenda
- 1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander
- 1 tbsp fresh basil
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp Worcester sauce
- 0.5 tsp chilli flakes adds a nice mild kick
Method

Add the tinned tomatoes, baked beans and the carrots to a pan and bring to the boil. Let simmer for around 10 mins.

Cut up the pickled onions and add.

Add chicken stock.

Blend the whole mixture with a blender.

Add sweetener and Soy Sauce. (check through tasting)

Add coriander, basil and parsley (add bit by bit and check through tasting). May need to blend again.

Add Worcester sauce.

Add 0.5 tsp chill flakes

Stir and serve.
